Mt. Juliet is an indie singer-songwriter duo comprised of twins Sami and Reny Petrucci. And no, they are not identical.

Based in Brooklyn, NY, Mt. Juliet’s sound blends introspective, nostalgic lyrics with brooding acoustic guitar. Their harmonies are bound to break your heart (just like the people who inspired them to write most of the band’s songs).

Originally from St. James, NY, the siblings grew up in a musical family and have been playing and studying music for most of their lives. Reny graduated from Berklee College of Music with a BFA in Songwriting, while Sami studied Drama at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Thanks to their shared upbringing, Mt. Juliet’s music offers a unique perspective, exploring their childhoods and the moments of heartbreak they supported each other through. After all, they literally shared a womb.
